What is a chemical peel, and is it safe?
Chemical peels use gentle acids to exfoliate, brighten, and renew the skin. At Terracotta, we use natural peels from Theraderm Korea, with a range suitable for many skin types. Peels are safe when performed by trained professionals—some mild redness or flaking afterward is completely normal.
Is there downtime after a peel treatment?
You may experience some redness, sensitivity, or mild peeling for a few days. We'll guide you through aftercare to help your skin heal and get the best results.
Can I wear makeup after a facial or peel session
It’s best to let your skin breathe for 24-48 hours after these treatments. Avoid makeup, sun exposure, and active skincare during this time.
Are these treatments suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, many of our facials are gentle and designed for sensitive skin. However, peels may not be suitable for all skin types—we’ll assess your skin before proceeding.

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. For oil massages, you can undress to your comfort level. We do provide disposable underwear, and you’ll be draped with a sheet or towel. For Thai massages, you’ll wear loose, comfortable pyjamas provided by us.

Your therapist may ask about your comfort and pressure preferences during the first 15 minutes. After that, we encourage you to relax and enjoy the quiet—but please feel free to voice any concerns at any time during your session.
